As I hold my place on the landscape of the universe, feet planted firmly on the ground beneath me, my mind becomes devoid of the river of thoughts that usually flow through it. All focus is on the subject before me and the impending moment as it presents itself. Peering through the viewfinder I see time unfolding, the camera capturing a reflection of the moment and giving it tangible substance.
Almost 20 years have passed since I first became serious about photography. I seek out the obscure, the less obvious and the forgotten places that show the effects of time passing and human influence on our ever-changing environment. However, my work as a whole represents my life, my experiences and my travels across this planet with the sunrises, sunsets, and landscapes of all kinds – urban and natural.
My name is Michael Perzinski and this is my Moving Perspective.
